Floors climbed and intensity minutes

Neither of these are displayed on my GCM android app. I've not been using the app for long so didn't even think about it until I saw a screenshot on DC Rainmaker's site that did have these two.

I use a Forerunner 235 and both intensity minutes and floors climbed are shown on the GC website, but there's no sign of them on the mobile app.

Is this as expected or should they actually be shown on the mobile app? I'm not that interested in them really - just want to be clear about whether or not I should be seeing them.

Thanks.
  • The 235 doesn't calculate floors or intensity minutes. Floors need a watch with a baro altimeter. Intensity minutes is only available on some of the newer watches.

Thanks, that sort of makes sense.

I was wrong in saying floors climbed is shown in Garmin Connect website - it's not (it's there in the menu on the left, but when I click on it it just shows steps, etc.).

But intensity minutes is definitely shown on the website, but not on the app which seems a little odd. It's obviously not being calculated by the FR235, but GC website is calculating it and not syncing the info with the GC app.

Intensity minutes was always shown on the app when I first got the watch and then one day It disappeared, still shows on web version which I find a little odd
