LG G3 D855 can't connect to Garmin Viovoactiv

Please help :-)

I have tried and tried but have been unable to connect to my Vivoactice with my LG G3 (Android 6).
Is there any of you that have succeeded to connect to your Vivoactice with a LG G3 running android 6.0?
And how?
I have no problem with other devices - Sound system/Tv/headset - All by bluetooth.

When I do it with my Vivoactive, the app (Garmin Connect) ask for the connection code, and it is displayed on the Vivoactive.
I type it, and the app is approve it - BUT IT WILL NOT CONNECT :-)
What to do ??

works for me

It works for me but somewhat weirdly. it does not shown in the list of BT devices but syncs successfully. I paired it using garmin connect app. had to manually go to app settings and enable all permissions to have calendar and other notifications. Having trouble with dwmap refresh of the route while on cell network but not on wifi - that's the only issue I've noticed.
