Hi there,
I know there's been a change in Android 6.0 Marschmallow (https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?328366-FR220-Nexus-5-Android-6-GCM-no-longer-Bluetooth-pair-syncs&p=744555#post744555) so that Location Services might be turned on in order to connect with a device via Bluetooth.
In my case I only like to transfer workout data from my Forerunner 220 to my phone (GC 3.10), and I wonder why Garmin Connect is the only app on my phone that requires GPS to be turned on though; e.g. KineticFit & Trainerroad e.g. connect with my Samsung A3 2016 and GPS off without problem
any ideas why it's only Garmin that needs GPS to be on?
cheers, j
