Sharing run to Facebook, no map thumbnail

Garmin Connect does not share actual map of run with a thumbnail to Facebook like all the other fitness tracking apps, such as MapMyFitness, Strava, TomTom Myfiitness, etc. Instead it shows a generic Garmin map pic.
  • Yeah. I was disappointed by that as well.
  • Granted it isn't inside the Garmin app, but Strava does this, and overlays your stats (distance, pace etc) over the top of the map picture and it looks pretty good. You can set Garmin to auto transfer your run data to Strava too.

Yep, I currently sync to Strava and MapMyRun. But I prefer to manage and share my runs to social media directly from Connect to keep things simple. I hope Garmin fixes this little shortcoming that is a very nice touch.
