I can view multiple text messages for 2 different senders but if I get 2 texts from the same sender I will not let me view the messages, anyone know how to view this?
I think its an issue with how Android handles some notifications. If I have two emails, I see the multi-email notification, and both show up on my watch. If I have two texts from different people I have two text notification icons (or a multi-one, I forget), but if they're from the same person I only have one icon. Same thing happens within the same group on GroupMe and the issue is consistent to the watch as well. Multiple groups each show up (2 icons on the phone) but multiple messages within 1 group are treated as a repeated (for lack of a better word) notification and only the last one makes it to my watch.
I haven't kept up on my android dev guidelines but I think it treats each app individually, then each app designates a subheader-type notification (email subject or sender, message sender, GroupMe group name, etc) then will treat each notification individually as they come in (you'll get the alert) but then rolls them up under their subheader (again, for lack of a better word). That's kinda the baseline for the expanding notifications on Android, and so the Garmin realizes you got a new message but goes to find it and only sees the subheaders and whatever is most recent for them. Might actually be a pretty simple fix on Garmin's end--you should send feedback on it.
