Since the last update to the Connect app, my email recipients are receiving multiple emails whenever I start Live Track. Anyone else having this problem?
Yesterday on Saturday 9:30 and 12:30 In total 50 e-mails were sent by GC to each email address. I just got the nick mailbomber from my friends.. Each time I started a Livetrack -> GC wrote seconds later no email invitations could be sent!! But they were sent. I don't know if the problem just exists -> I don't dare to start a Livetrack again..
Edge 810 + Android with GC -> Both newest versions (FW).
This is happening to me, too. LiveTrack states emails can't be sent but multiple emails are being sent, with LiveTrack refusing to start. I don't know what's going on with it!
It has been happening with me as well, but random as to a single email or multiple. Live track says cannot send emails, and I cancel, but I get a few. Those say the ride is expired. After a few tries it works fine, but I get lots of livetrack emails. I have an Edge 820 and Android phone. Both are on the latest updates.
I installed two previous versions of Garmin connect that I wasn't having problems with and that did not fix the multiple email issue for me. Not sure what else to try at this point, I guess we will have to wait for Garmin to fix this problem. BTW, I am using a Garmin 510 paired with a Nexus 5.
Multiple failures to send livetrack to Email list..then I retry and retry....and nothing happens. Then all the sudden I hear back from friends and family they got like 47 emails each.

On my last two rides, 8/19 & 8/20, Live Track is performing as it should and sending only one email per recipient. Thanks for the quick fix Garmin👍
I'm new. Got the 810 in July and the last 3 rides sent multiple EM's. After reading this forum called Garmin tech:
The problem was described as an issue with the update to the phone app. which I was told has to be done manually (I thought is was auto). Was told the Phone App. is updated like once a month. The Edge auto updates when connecting to Garmin Express. Looking forward to this being resolved. Fingers crossed.
Note: I contacted Garmin tech by email when this first happened this was the reply. After reading this forum page then I called them.

I would suggest confirming that there is only one instance of the email address in the Recipients list in LiveTrack in the Connect Mobile app; you might want to remove all saved recipients and add again later. Also, make sure that your version of the Connect Mobile app is up-to-date, as well as the software of your Edge 810.
Try all of the above; if the issue persists, please reply.
