"Bluetooth Troubleshooting" notification is almost always present

I appreciate the help it's offering, but it's going too far.

Most of the time my Garmin 520 is off, at home, and disconnected because I'm not riding my bike.

How do I get this message to go away and stay away? If I swipe it away, it comes back a few minutes later. It's really annoying.

    Same Problem

I have the same issue even if the Garmin Edge device is connected. I asked Garmin support for help - I will let you know the answer from Garmin as soon as I get feedback.
  • I just denied all notofications from GCM :)
  • Any update Garmin??? this is getting old! Between this and telling me there is a software update for my 920xt... all the FALSE notifications are getting annoying!!!

    Garmin Support

    @DALESD
Garmin Support says that my device (Edge 1000) is not compatible to my smartphone (Samsung S5 mini), but the compatibility list only says that it is not tested and the are no issues with other Samsung smartphones. And evenmore BT works well - I only get the error messages. Together with your feedback I assume it is a general issue of the Android App. What smartphone are you using?
  • All of the smartphones I have have never been on the compatibility list and they all work fine.
  • I'm using a Nexus 6P.
Where is this phone compatibility list?
  • For me my phone or watch hasn't changed in 2+ yrs. This warning just started to randomly appear out of no where. I am not having any issues, just getting this stupid warning.... just like the stupid warning saying there is an upgrade for my watch, when there ISN'T.

    Compatibility List

Here you can find the compatibility list:

  • The problem has gone on too long.

I have been getting this notification constantly and it is annoying to have to shut off all notifications for Garmin Connect. I have a Garmin 820 and a VivoSmart HR. Time to do something, Garmin.

Been having this same annoying BT pop up notification ever since the Connect app was updated to V3.11.

Reported it several time to Garmin and all they were saying was, disconnect the Bluetooth between Edge & handset. Uninstall Connect app, re install app, then re pair Edge to handset.

Well, I have done this and that ruddy annoying pop up is still at it.

Ended up switching off the notifications in handset settings, application manager, notifications. Or at least until Garmin decides that it is a glitch with the app and decides to address the issue.
