Gmail notification now shows sender and receiver address, not subject. Forunner 235

Hi!

Since update to Garmin Connect Mobile a few days ago my watch now shows "from email + to email" instead of "from email + Email subject" on my Forunner 235.

This has now become a completely useless feature. Is there a setting for this, or just a bug?

Running Forerunner 235 v 4.70 and Garmin Connect Mobile 3.8.0.1 on a One Plus 3 Android 6.0.1 (Oxygen OS 3.2.1)

    Bumping this as it is still an issue. Is there any official reps. in this forum?

    Anyone else notice this?

    This is not an official customer engagement or customer service channel. There are Garmin staff who routinely read/review posts in this forum, but they are under no obligation to reply.

    Notifications generated by the Gmail app on Android, yes. Notifications generated by the native Mail app on iOS for the same messages received in my Gmail account, no.

    <EDIT>
    Actually, that's wrong. The notifications generated by the Gmail app on Android and forwarded to my Forerunner‑235 still contain both the subject and the (first several hundred characters of) content of the mail messages received; I simply have to drill-down to read it, because the summary only shows the first line of text, and now the first line of text is the To: address instead of the subject.

    This is an approximate representation of what I see:

    Note: The subject of the received mail message is not actually displayed in a different colour on the FR235; I'm only highlighting it in blue above to specifically show its presence.
