fenix 2 not syncing with garmin connect /android

Hi! As of today I have an issue with my Fenix 2 not syncing with Samsung S6. After having turned on the sync mode on Fenix 2, and having turned on the bluetooth on my S6 and after having started the Garmin connect after a short while Fenix 2 briefly confirms connection with "connected" but then immediately goes into "connecting" which lasts forever.
I have tried everything even deleting Fenix 2 from paired devices - nothing.
Any advices? Thank you.:confused:

Hi,

I'm experiencing the same problem with my Fenix 2 on a Moto X Style Pure Edition running 6.0.

I get sync in progress on my device. Some sync complete notifications on the app on my phone. However no new data is sent to the application. The device then sits at connected.

I first noticed it on 5/31/2016. I went through a re-pairing sequence. Uninstalled the app on my phone and re-installed. Nothing worked.

I've opened a ticket this morning, but I am not holding my breath for any real help on it.
