I am new here. Just purchased a Vivosmart HR and I have continuous issues pairing the device to Mobile Connect. Once paired one would think that it would stay paired or re-pair when the device is turned on. Often times I get a prompt saying ready to pair. When I look at the BT settings on the phone it shows the phone is paired to the vivosmart HR. Then the device says follow steps on Garmin connect mobile to pair. I uninstalled the App and reinstalled it. the Mobile Connect app reports the device is not found even though I have keyed in the number on the device to the phone. Does this sound like there is an issue with the Vivosmart HR?

  • You must perform the pairing inside the Garmin Connect Mobile app, and only inside the GCM app but not the mobile device's operating system Bluetooth settings. Try removing the remembered pairing from the mobile device's BT settings, as opposed to uninstalling the GCM app, and then perform the proper pairing procedure anew.
