Intensity minutes Vivofit 3

Former Member

Hi everyone!

I have a Garmin Vivofit 3 and a heart rate monitor. I have tried it today, doing crossfit during 25 minutes. My average BPM is 130 and my highest 160. The problem is that I have no intensity minutes counted...

I did a kind of HIIT training (30 sec work/30 sec rest) which is the only thing, according to me, that could explain that my tracker didn't count it as "continuous intensity", and it is disappointing me...

Maybe there is another problem that I can fix?

Someone can help me?

Thank you very much!

Dylan

PS: sorry for my English, but I am French!

same problem here after 90 minutes of crossfit. Vivosmart HR for me. I don't think it's the devices, I think it's COnnect that is messing up. Same problem in the browser version as well. No intensity minutes shown this week.

    Thank you for your answer!

Today new test: 50 minutes running at average 70-80% of my FC/max

Intensity minutes: 42 minutes at middle intensity...

I have feeling that intensity minutes are not based on my BPM but on my steps...

    How to contact Garmin support?

    Hi

I just used my vivofit 3 with heart rate monitor at spin class. I started the timer.. could see my heart rate on the watch. . Clicked stop.. synced the device and nothing at all showed. It thought I did steps and there is no sign of any heart rate recording.really disappointed.

    Hi!

For me, I have feeling that it is becoming worse and worse...

Since android update: issues with Bluetooth synchronisation
Asking me to put GPS localisation to do synchronisation

Today I did crossfit with high heart rate average: didn't detect any of my activity (I needed to write manually that I wasn't walking (?!!!!!) But doing high intensity training!!)
My intensity minutes didn't even change !

I think that according to Garmin it is more accurate to count intensity minutes based on steps than on heart rate.......!!! It's absolutely not logical!

I begin to be really disappointed....

    No answers from Garmin support...

Should I send back my Vivofit 3?
