GCM app occasionally doesn't start (black screen)

Hi,

Phone: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with Android 5.1.1. Everything stock. No modifications.
GCM: Always latest version from Google Play.

When I start GCM it occasionally just doesn't start. I can see only a black screen. The interesting part is that notifications (to Fenix 3 in my case) are still working. I can't turn off that black screen (close the app) with back button. The only thing that helps - app force stop. After force stop it starts and works normally.

Have you experienced such GCM behavior?

    I also experience this. Samsung Galaxy S4, stock Verizon Android 5.0.1, current Garmin software, connected to a Forerunner 235.

    If I knew how to reproduce the issue - I would report to Garmin Support.

    I also get the same issue and often when this happens WiFi on the phone also stops connecting. Clearing the cache in Apps for Connect seems to temporarily fix the issue. I have also noticed that when this happens, the Garmin Approach G8 seems to think it is connected to the phone, even if I turn the phone off. The Garmin Approach needs resetting before it will connect to bluetooth again. (Connect 3.4.1.2, G8 3.1).
