Version 3.4 (.1.1)

I missed the actual event, but my phone has recently updated GC to version 3.4 (.1.1). I don't know when exactly it happened.

Oddly the Google Play page still says version 3.3.2 is the latest.

While not mentioned in the update info, I am really hoping that they have fixed the BlueTooth problems with the keep active and related battery drain.
Will post an update when I have seen how it performs.
  • Maybe they fixed the Bluetooth/CPU spinlock problem the previous update had.

It would be nice if they'd tell us if they fixed it, however, instead of forcing us to update and then if it blows up our phone and destroys battery life we have to unload it and reload the saved version we got from one of the dodgy places around the Internet because they refuse to tell us at Garmin what the he.. is going on!
  • This has been updated again to 3.4.1.2 cannot see any changes yet.

Nothing here either, same issue with MFP. Buy i received a email from MFP this evening , so maybe there are hope.

==THIS RESPONSE IS BEING SENT OUT TO ALLNEW SUPPORT CASES MENTIONING GARMIN. We are experiencing the syncing issue listed below, but if your support email relates to something else, please respond back with "different issue" and our agents will investigate asap==

Thank you for taking the time to contact us and for bringing this to our attention. We are aware of the issue where Garmin and MFP are not syncing properly (Mainly with MFP food summaries not transferring to Garmin Connect). We are in contact with Garmin and hope to have a fix in place as soon as possible. Please accept our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

    Warm Regards,

  • MFP working now for me; no perfromanace stats

As of this time, the MFP sync issue seems to be solved for me.

I updated to 3.4.1.2 which claimed to resolve the missing performance stats issue on my supported device (fenix 3), but it still does not show in GCM

Update: Performance stats showed after I rebooted my phone (Galaxy 5)

It would be nice if they'd tell us if they fixed it...

The most recent release (3.4.1.1) was to fix crashes due to the transition to daylight savings time. To my knowledge, there hasn't been any work done on the battery issues you've described.

3.4.1.2 does not fix the Smart Notifications random working introduced in 3.4.1.1
