Version 3.4 (.1.1)

I missed the actual event, but my phone has recently updated GC to version 3.4 (.1.1). I don't know when exactly it happened.

Oddly the Google Play page still says version 3.3.2 is the latest.

While not mentioned in the update info, I am really hoping that they have fixed the BlueTooth problems with the keep active and related battery drain.
Will post an update when I have seen how it performs.

After the upgrade I had to "Clear Data" in Apps and pair the bluetooth again on Approach G8 to get Smart Notifications to work.

    Bluetooth battery drain still excessive

After the update I left GC and BlueTooth on to see and yesterday all was good, but I was woken this morning by the low battery alert of my Xperia M2. During the night BlueTooth had used up 80% of my battery. I then had to power cycle my phone to get bluetooth to switch off.
Clearly Garmin STILL has not fixed the problem.

Possibly the update was associated with the addition of ConnectIQ to the Edge 520 and 1000 which rolled out yesterday.

After using this update for a few days the operation of Smart Notifications has become very intermittent. I need to turn the phone's (Nexus 4) bluetooth off and on again to get it to work. Something was broken in this latest update.

Confirmed - the battery drains at a rate of 25% per hour on my nexus 6p with Connect 3.4.1.1 installed. Android battery statistics show bluetooth events waking up the phone twice per minute followed by 20s or more cpu activity every time. Will have to use the Fenix Wifi to sync for now.

Agreed. Email notifications are unreliable on my fenix 3 / Galaxy S5. Previous versions were flawless.
  • Sync problems/MFP problems

After receiving the new uppdate (3.4.(1.1) it\s almost impossible to sync with both Galaxy 6 edge and galaxy Tab S, the calorie integration with MFP is also gone. Fantastic, now i have : Vivosmart HR ( Work , but not 100%, still bugs) Edge 1000, (Work, but not 100%, still bugs+missing features they have promised) ,Fenix3 ( Getting better, but still not ok) Garmin Index smart scale , a disaster, useless, allow one weight pr.day, does NOT recognize my wife, but put the data in my GC instead. (We have 43 Kg different body weight)

Have uninnstalled and disconnected MFP and GC , innstalled both aps again, and linked them together, but NO,NO,NO. My patience with Garmin start weaken, why do they not take care of their existing customers before they release a bunch of new Beta that will in best case work in the future.

I am so bored of being a betatester for Garmin, using a lot of money on a lot of stuff that NOT work proper.

Edit: got a mail back, telling me that it will take more than 3 days to answer my mail, because there is so many complains to deal with..................

EDIT AGAIN. This morning everything worked again (exept the weight syncing )
