GC keeps telling me that my Edge 520 unit has an update.

After my last 3 bike rides I uploaded my data via the Android GC app over Bluetooth. The software keeps telling me there is an update for my Garmin Edge 520 yet when I plug the device into my laptop and sync with Garmin Express it tells me I'm at the latest software version (3.10) and that there are no other updates.

Anyone else seeing this? Is there a way to turn this update notification off?

I get this with my Edge 810. Pretty sure this is a bug that thinks all of the optional languages are required updates. I just ignore it.

Also just realized this thread is over a year old, not a couple of weeks ... as I mentioned in the other thread, that's some really horrible resolution time. :confused:

Same on Garmin Approach

I keep getting Connect notifications that there is an update available for the Garmin Approach G8 and when I use Garmin Express there is no update available. I then need to go onto the Web connect page and delete the update (World Time Zone v19 or similar name). In a few weeks the update appears in the queue again.

This problem has been happening on my Edge 1000 for many months, through multiple versions of GC mobile and three different phones...

Same problem since months. Fenix 3. I have updated everything a hundred times, and it still shows the red message claiming that there's an update... Awesome software!

For years my 510 has been telling me that I have a software update and that I should connect it to Garmin Connect. But when I do that I only see insignificant (to me) language updates that I can't disable or delete. So I tried installing those just to make the constant reminders go away but I can't even do that because the "Install Now" button is inactive. It's there but it does nothing when I click on it.

Is there a solution to this, or disabling selected updates and/or notifications?
