Since a couple of weeks I have issues with using WLAN on my Sony Xperia Z running Android 5.1.1.
Meanwhile I figured out that it seems that I could not use both, BT and WLAN in parallel. WLAN works fine, when BT is deactivated. But when I activate BT, my phone cannot make any WLAN connection anymore. First I thought that Sony messed the thing up with their latest update on Android 5.1.1 on my Xperia.
Now I figured out that it is not Sony's fault. When I deactivate (=force stop of) the Garmin Connect Mobile App, WLAN and BT work in parallel like a charm on my mobile. Only when I start once the Garmin Connect Mobile App it doesn't work any more.
Now come my questions related to the topic:
- Has anyone made similar experiences?
- Has anyone an idea how I could use Garmin Connect Mobile on my phone withpout having the described trouble with BT and WLAN?
- Has anyone an idea for an alternative app which allows me to sync my Vifofit wristband with Garmin Connect portal and with my mobile phone?
