Vivosmart Hr doesnt pair with Nexus6

Hi
I have just bought a Vivosmart HR, register it and updated the software to v2.9 using Garmin Express.
I have a Nexus 6 and after installing Garmin Connect Mobile, I have tried to pair the phone with my VS HR.
The pairing fails at the "download step" with a bluetooth connectivity lost message (shown on the VS HR when Connect Alert is on).

I have already tried to switch off/on bluetooth on both devices and reboot, but always same result.
I have Android 6 installed on my Nexus 6 and at every access permission request I have accepted.

Please, let me know if there is a way to make it work.
Thanks
  • Since you're new, I'll ask if you tried to pair with your phone or with the Mobile Connect app. It should only be paired with Connect. If you paired with phone itself, forget it there.

Same problem with Galaxy S3... But "got better"

I was having the same problem earlier today. My vivosmart HR wouldn't sync with Android app on Samsung Galaxy s3 for about 2 hrs. However, the problem seems but it seems to have resolved itself.

Wondering if this could be due to the Android app update that was applied yesterday afternoon.
