Forerunner 235 data not synching properly

I've looked for this in the forums, but couldn't find it. My apologies if I've missed it.
Forerunner 235
Firmware version 3.30
WHR version 2.5
Connect version 3.2.1
Express version 4.1.15

Last night, the sync stopped sending steps through connect. The history on the watch is correct, but the step count shown in Connect is wrong. Steps for today are correct. In yesterday's data, it says that it appears I switched timezones (I did not) and my charts will make more sense tomorrow.

Has anyone else experienced this? Have you fixed it? How did you do it?

I have tried syncing through bluetooth to my phone as well as through the cable to a computer. All have the same result.

    Also problems w. 235 & connect mobile.

    I also have the 235. And it will not autosync.
    Had to pair & unpair. No sync of activities.
    Finally when I changed my weight...it syncet.

    I am missing a button named "manual sync" in Connect mobile.

    I just finished a call with tech support and they've opened a case for me. Every day since Friday it shows that my timezone has changed and each of the days have varying degrees of inaccuracy. It seems to be related to the activity between the last sync and midnight. In other words, if I sync the watch at 11:59p and don't move, the numbers will match. If I sync the watch at 9p and run 10 miles, it will be off a lot.

    I'll provide further updates once tech support comes back to me.
  • I spoke with tech support and was assigned a case. I sent them a zip of the "Garmin" folder from my 235. They fixed the connect issue. It shows all the data from my watch and no longer shows that I've changed timezones.
