Removing unused IQ watch faces from GCM??

I have an F3 and have tried numerous different watchfaces on it. Plenty of them I didn't like once I actually got them on there and have removed them from the watch. But they still populate my uninstalled watch face section in gcm and I'd like to remove them, but I can't find any way how. I now have a big list of watch faces in there. Is there any way to actually remove them fro GCM?

Also, I haven't added any apps or widgets as yet, but does the same thing happen with them? Can they not be removed from GCM once uninstalled from watch?
  • Have you tried to remove them via the Windows App? Garmin Express... I do not think there is an option to remove them via the APP
  • When you uninstall something, it's removed from your watch, but shows on your "not installed" list in GCM. I've never seen a way to remove it from there...

But it's actually nice if you are trying something new and want to easily go back to something you tried before, or if you did a hard reset on your watch, you can easily re-install the stuff you had before.

Yes, it's the same with widgets, apps and data field.

The current implementation does not provide a way to remove uninstalled apps/watch faces/widgets/data fields from your account. It works similar to the Google Play store in that regard.
  • OK, thanks Craig. Do you know if these things are taking up memory on the phone, or is it like the play store and is just a list, and a reinstall would have to grab them from the net first? It's only a bit annoying because I tried a heap of different things and now have this big huge list of stuff I don't want any more.

Does anyone know if there's any update to this issue of removing previously installed apps, widgets and watch faces? And I only mean the non-built-in ones. It might seem silly but my list has 22 Connect IQ apps (mostly watch faces) that I have installed over the past year and have no intension of ever re-installing and it would be nice to clean up that list.

The comment about Google Play is no longer correct as the Google Play Store now allows you to remove uninstalled apps from the list (by clicking on a little "X" in the upper right of an app's tile).

    Cheers,

  • It would be nice if you could remove them. When I first got my F3 I tried out a heap of watchfaces that I didn't like (couldn't really tell what they were truly like till you installed them) and now I have this huge list that I just don't need.
