GCM on Android ask for several permissions and - among others - to have access to the notifications (on my Android it's : Settings->Security->Notifications access).
I'm currently experiencing a problem: from time to time GCM stop handling the notifications and stop forwarding them to the watch even if on Android "Notifications access" is ticked and enabled!
I've others apps having access to the Android notifications and they are working right.
With GCM I need to disable them and re-enable (again: on the Android OS not inside the GCM).
My current version is 3.1.0.1 (the "all black" one). With the previous version (which was with a white predominant background, I don't remember the vers.number) there was the same problem _BUT_ the GCM was asking for access to the notifcations periodically (it was catching the problem by itself, but neverthless the problem was already there) !
It seems like GCM doesn't enroll correctly for the notifications: with the previous version it was catching the problem and was asking for the user to enable them again; with the current version (v. 3.1.0.1) it never realize it has no access to the notifications and ... I loose all my notifications on my watch !!!
Others have experienced similar issues AFAIK:

I'm currently on:
Android 4.4.2, sdk ver.19 (Asus Padfone 2)
GCM v.3.1.0.1
watch: Vivoactive
Garmin, do you have any workaround or - better - a solution ?
Thanks.
