Hello,
...this is the second time I am composing this post. The first time I submit it, it literally disappeared. Should that happen again I would very sad that I have bought product from a company that cannot even nail down a working forum...
I am completely new here and do now wish my first post to be a bug report (I am actually putting together few lines about your latest update to repay your effort with clear and concise feedback) yet it appears I have no choice. I am unable to sync activities from my brand new Vivofit 2. I am only using mobile app for syncing so therefore I am posting here. I hope thats fine.
Since Friday 23rd I am missing three activities (runs to be specific) that I performed with your heart rate monitor (I bought a bundle). I cannot see those activities in both the mobile app and web interface. However the total number of steps appears to contain steps from the activity and the steps graph timeline (15 minute sections) in web interface contains no values in periods during which I have perfomed the activity.
I have waited for auto sync to kick in and also perfomed few manual syncs. I have also wiped application data in Android settings and paired device with my phone again. All my efforts were fruitless. Both manual and auto sync worked correctly before. Apart from the application update I have also seen countdown on display on Sunday 24th. Does that mean you have pushed a firmware update? Could that be the source of problems?
I also suspect steps are not synced 100% correct. For example I have perfomed two manunal syncs during last 40 minutes (to be sure before reporting the bug) and took a small walk (+/- 250 steps) between. After the second sync neither mobile app or web displayed updated step count.
I am also attaching a screenshot of diagnostic info from application (btw: why do you allow export to file extension .html that you do not support on this forum as an attachmenet?). I can attach sync audit but I do not know if it helps since I have wiped app data as I mentioned.
My setup is following:
Garmin Connect mobile 3.0 (but I believe there was one incremental update after the big leap to 3.0...)
Vivofit 2, according to the latest activity screen software version is2.70.0.0
Nexus 5, Android 6.0 in the purest form (no root, no bootloader unlocking, original launcher, no tinkering at all), actually Garmin Connect is the first app I have installed (yep, I literally live within Google's world)
I hope I have provided all necessary info for you to resolve this troublesome issue.
Regards,
Martin
