Stupid Question - Why doesn't GCM support the built-in ant+ in my phone?

I have a Samsung S5 with Ant+. Why cannot I not use it to sync data from my 310XT to GC via GCM?

I agree it's a pain - I have successfully used ST Loader - from Google Play - this works well with my 610 and One plus One phone

I tried ST Uploader (didn't see an ST Loader, but maybe that's what you meant). It uploaded to my phone fine, but I don't see how ST Uploader connects to my GC account - ?

ST Uploader - yes - if you go into the activity that you have uploaded then it has two tabs - details and export

Choose export and you have the ability to export to all sorts of apps including Connect - its all detailed in the instructions on the website

Tried ST Loader, went with Ant2Net Pro. Still find it ridiculous Garmin doesn't support Ant+ uploading to GC on Android, Ant+ enabled phones have been out for years. Nothing like abandoning your user base.
