Enable tracking using Earthmate

I'd like to use the Earthmate app to enable tracking on my inreach mini. From the tracking screen if i push start, I'm then given the option to SHARE, CLEAR or CANCEL. If choose share, it sends a message against my quota, but i doesn't actually seen to start tracking on the device.

Am I doing something wrong?

It sounds like you're starting tracking correctly in Earthmate. The Share, Clear, and Cancel options would appear after touching the "share" icon in the top-right corner of the screen which should be to the right of the word "Stop" when tracking is running.
