My location not shown when opening Earthmate

When I open Earthmate, a map of the USA is displayed. I am not in the USA. Why is my location not displayed by default?

How do i correct this?

6219163 Try uninstalling the app and reinstalling it. Make sure you allow your phone to pick up gps location... ie: location services must be turned on.
