One day Garmin Connect IQ store didn't start anymore after login

Garmin Connect and Garmin Connect IQ worked fine for a few years until a while ago on my Android mobile phone.
Garmin Connect still works and synchronizes.

Garmin Connect IQ stopped working one day. Login is still working but then I see the circle circling and nothing more happens. Like forever. Neither time out nor store.

Neither deleting the cache nor reinstalling the app did help.

Also on my tablet there is the same problem. This was my first install of the app and also there, the shop doesn't show up after login.

Installed is version 2.48 of Connect IQ

I'm kind of clueless what else I could try without reinstalling my mobile phone.

I guess i run into the same issue today.. I started Connect IQ today, had to select my account and accept some EULA and afterwards it just hangs with the mentioned "circle circling"... same Version 2.48.

Doesn't work (2.48) and it's telling that, four days on, Garmin seems to have done nothing to rectify it.

I was able to resolve the issue by doing a full log off from Garmin Connect on my phone. And did a log in (I also have a MFA so - login\password and code).

After that IQ started to work as usual.

I guess, for IQ only there is also an option to select different account and fill out the same login and password.

OK, so I found another (easier?) way.

Connect IQ was prompting me to use my normal Connect account to login. Clicking on 'Switch Accounts' gave me the option to use my Connect email and password to login. Seems to have worked.

Edit: Well, that seems to log you out of Connect, too!

Yeah that worked for me too.. now i can use ConnectIQ again! Also had to login into Connect (and for some reason it was reason to dark design)

I restored version 2.47 from a backup, but when I started it, it asked me to login, and then I realized that it kicked me out of the main Connect app as well. Logging back into Connect fixed logging in to Connect IQ as well.

Very sloppy release and an bad experience, as it is seems to be the style of everything Garmin does nowadays. Seems like there is minimal or no testing before any of these supporting software or firmware releases go live.

Okay, that's not fair: in case of the watch firmwares, Garmin beta users are the unpaid testers. Looks like in case of the apps we're all the unpaid testers.
