Connect IQ APP - by choosing "recent order" app's no more ordered correctly

as title, starting from some days, by set order " recent" WF or other items are no more ordered correctly, but at the top remain old items and by scrolling down the date continues to get closer to the current one. Probably a bug...

Anyone?

  • Hi,

This reply is confusing. Are you saying when I select to sort by most recent, I'm seeing the most recent initial releases? That's not what happens, nor does it make sense. They might as well forget about sorting as what's there now is not useful. Why would I care about the initial release date when I want to see what changed recently? Do they even use the things they develop?

i want to see the newest updates and now there's no good way to do that. Kinda useless to have a store where I can't see what the latest updates are. I stay away from the mobile app, it's not a good experience -- see above. This whole IQ Store situation, both mobile and web, is a disservice to your developers. I usually stay away from bitching on these forums but Garmin has really screwed this one up.

Edit: Here's what the web site actually does since the developers apparently don't know. When selecting the recent sort, it returns the past week (usually) of updates in reverse order (oldest to newest). It used to return a lot more but in the expected order, newest to oldest.

  • Hello. Garmin Scott is right, every time an update to a given watch face was released, it was always at the top and we knew what the changes were. What would be the point of originally releasing the watch face when the developer improved it 10 times in 6 months. You also always put the latest software update on top so that the current changes are visible. Why do you always tend to break what works, oh

  • Dear Garmin, today the update for Android came out and still the same problem, when will you fix it, why don't you listen to us people, it's been over 3 months now

  • I'm pretty sure this is a server side bug. The android / iOS / web just display the results in the order they receive from the server. You can even see that after you change the Sort by it waits for the server. The good news is that they only have to fix it once and it'll work for everyone instantly

  • I see the search has been removed from the web store. Looks like we'll be forced to use the mobile app soon. That's too bad because it's worse. It won't stay on the chosen app type and the images are too small. It's a crap shoot whether you'll return to where you were in the search results or put back at the top. At least I can scroll the week's worth of "recent" updates in a web browser more easily. Garmin is really effin' this one up.

  • And you forgot the endlessly repeating loop of scrolling down in the android Connect IQ app, where in some situations (not sure if it's related to search, I thionk it can happen also when you enter a category: you're scrolling down, and suddenly you see an app that you already saw, then another one... and then you realize that you're seeing some N last apps again and again in an endless loop.

  • Yup, the Android app is not a good experience for me either. Unamused
