I want to use my GPSMAP 64s to live stream data to a computer or tablet by bluetooth

I work in remote locations outside network services.

I would like to incorporate GPS data direct from the Garmin to a tablet that is running some in-house software via bluetooth.

Can anyone live stream gps data from a GPSMAP64s to any laptop or tablet without network service?

Theoretically yes, it is possible, but the CIQ app needs a compagnon Android or iOS app on the tablet receiving the data.

TX Trux. I think we have worked it out - as you say needed another app in the middle for this.
