GoPro Camera Control Widget Timeout on Tactix 7 AMOLED

Hi everyone,

I recently downloaded the 'GoPro® Camera Control' app, and it works great on my Tactix 7 AMOLED. However,

I've noticed that the app's widget has a timeout similar to other widgets on the watch.

Is there any way to keep this widget active and online without it timing out? Any tips or settings adjustments that could help would be appreciated!

Well, I do not use the GoPro widget, but you can prevent timing out of most (if not all) widgets by running a dummy activity (i.e. Cardio) in the background. At least so it works on all the Garmin watches I ever used. I use it frequently for example when I want to keep the Steps, HR, or Temp widgets on the screen for a longer time.
