Connect IQ cannot connect to server(s) when device language is RTL (tested on Arabic and Hebrew)

Latest Google Play Store version 2.26.

Note: My android OS default locale is Hebrew...


I've tested it in Hebrew as well, got the same result.

Reproduction (as a starting point, See note above):

  1. Using an RTL language (e.g. Hebrew)
  2. Launch Connect IQ - Get the result as in the screenshot posted in original OT.
  3. Change locale to, ex. English-UK all working well.
  4. Restore original locale, on some times it is starting OK, on most times, It is showing the error...

On some occasions this bug is being fixed by following this:

  1. Clear cache or Clear application data
  2. Change locale to English - as example
  3. Launch Connect IQ - All working well.
  4. Ext Connect IQ
  5. Change locale back to RTL language
  6. Launch the Connect IQ again
