Let's sync Garmin data to Health Connect and google fit apps.

Currently, you can sync through other non-reputable data providers like Health Sync https://play.google.com/store/search?q=health+sync&c=apps&hl=en&gl=US but this is bad.

It would be great if Garmin supported a google fit or Health Connect app:

Health Sync is a good app, I use it for many years already

Health connect is better which is integrated bi directional with all other apps. There are atleast 10 apps i use most of the apps sync realtime with health connect when any app is opened up. Read/write to health connect app as per setting. And it is customizable to which we can give permission or not

Yes, it is just a major downside that all other apps have switched to health connect now and Garmin has no option to integrate with it.

All other apps can send data to health connect, or get it from health connect. Just weird that Garmin is so late to the game here.

Unexpected and a reason I am considering different tech and replacing my garmin. Will not purchase another Garmin if this is the still not changed at next purchase

Same here. This is shameful for Garmin. You need to keep up if you wanna stay relevant. No vendor should expect their app to be the central place to go for everything. We need to be able to mix and match to meet our needs and preferences.

Neither Health Connect nor Google Fit are options in the app connections which is what everyone is complaining about.. this seems like an AI response

I went in there and Health Connect was there and connected (I didn't recall doing this, so I'm not sure how it got connected on the first place).

Anyway, I found that the data wasn't syncing at all so I disconnected it and intended to reconnect.

Now Health Connect doesn't show up as an available app to connect like "190092" is pointing out.
