Udisc for Instinct 1

I am an avid disc golfer and have been looking forward to the integration of UDisc into Garmin for some time. I also have an Instinct Solar that I have been very happy with and has lived up to every expectation. So needless to say I am very bummed to learn that the Instinct 1 will not be compatible with the UDisc app. My watch is in perfectly good condition and I am not thrilled about the wasteful consumerism I would have to commit in order to enjoy this long awaited feature.
I hope this doesn't fall on deaf ears.

I am afraid it does, because Instinct 1 does not support the Connect IQ technology at all, hence no CIQ apps can be written for Instinct 1. In other words there not the slightest chance it could ever happen. You need Instinct 2 (or another CIQ-enabled model) for that.
