Garmin forerunner not syncing to phone

Watch has stopped properly syncing to Garmin connect app, it occasionally will connect to the watch and start syncing but never finishes, it like it times out.

I have tried everything including, factory reset of both watch and phone but the problem still persists.when re adding the watch to the phone it takes several attempts to complete and sync but never is able to fully get data from watch to app.

Any help would be extremely grateful.

I ran into a similar issue with my Forerunner 735XT this week. It just stopped syncing early on May 22, 2022. Can't tell if the problem is tied to a recent Android software update (using 4.54.1). Usually, connectivity problems clear up in a day or so but this one is almost a week. My watch is charged w/Bluetooth on and latest watch firmware and Android software. Doesn't matter if phone GPS is on or off (doesn't normally require phone GPS for watch upload to Android).

Real time update. Was looking up the watch firmware version and when I scrolled past Bluetooth, it showed connect and then I got a messaging saying Transfer was complete! I checked my phone and sure enough, it updated. Must be Solar Flares!
