Active Captain won't reload a device once it has been deleted

I deleted the UHD55cv from the active Captain app because it was indicating "without transducer". Whilst this was true initially, I subsequently connected the transducer, but this indication did not change. There appears to be no way to update this change, so I removed the device. Whilst the device can still be found by the app, and the big green tick appears, the device is not added to the account. I removed the app from the (android) phone, and reinstalled it, but there is no change.

The UHD55 is loaded with software version 37, this has a serious bug in that it won't reload the charts from the Active Captain sd card after power up, but needs the card to be removed and re-inserted.
