How do i stop community updates?

AC community updates block the navionics boating app with continous nonsense updates, use up my mobile data and the battery and overheat the ipad.

You should be able to go into Settings and then click on the Chart Download Settings (on the left on my iPad) and then uncheck ActiveCaptain Community or anything else you don't want.

Does not work. On the status bar on top of the app the circlyng dots indicate continous download activities until I cut the WiFi connection. This would use up my mobile quote quickly and prevents the download of new chart areas.
