I have the Active Captain app installed on both my Samsung S22 and my android tablett. I am connected to my Echomap 122SV with both devices, and both are syncing maps and updating my plotter. I want to use my tablet to mirror my plotter via the HELM function, but it wont turn up in my apps section in Active Captain.
When i initially set up my plotter just outside my house with my Samsung phone, both the plotter and the phone where connected to my home wifi for a bit, and i know i got the HELM application working as it should back then. So i am wondering if i need to set up a wifi hotspot and have all devices connected to that, cause i can´t make HELM work with my phone ore tablett by just being connected to the plotters wifi hotspot.
I was out for 2 hours yesterday on the lake trying to make it work. I updated the plotter out there to latest 25.0 firmware without any problems, and also performed a big map update. HELM function is still "hidden" or not enabled in the Active Captain app.
