Mapping issue

I have four UHD93 SV units that are networked together and also have Livescope.  Recently updated them to the most recent software version and ever since, have been having mapping issues.  The maps are incredibly slow to load and sometimes won’t unless I am moving.  I can’t zoom in or move around the map or it takes a few minutes to load again or it freezes the units up.  A couple of my units have been shutting down on me occasionally as well.  It is extremely frustrating!  I purchased all four of these units new and they are one year old.  I had no issues last year.  Any ideas what the issue could be?  Not sure I am posting this in the correct forum so sorry if I am not.  Thanks!

  • Same comments as above.  I have a 75sv and 95sv and both now struggle to load the contours that were built on these units.  What’s happening?  The software update destroyed the refresh rate for these maps.  

  • Hey Matt, I called Garmin several times and each time got different ideas to solve the issue.  Did you figure anything out?

    I did the following:

    1. Turned off "Quick Contour " fishing contours.  - This helped a lot.  Garmin said they were several maps running at one time that contradicted each other.

    2. Stopped automatically connecting to Active Captain - I think this had an effect, although less than #1

    My personal QuickDraw contours became the only thing I could trust anyway due to community enteries not setting the offsets when the water level changed.

    Hope that helps a bit, I think the updates slowed my systems down, even after these tweaks.
