Garmin express doesn't recognise .xml files from S2 golf watch

Garmin express won't automatically sync with my S2 golf watch on my mac.

I have tried to manually upload but it won't recognise the .xml files that the scorecards are written in on the watch .
When i try to connect automatically all I get is the blue spinning beach ball .
Please help

At this time there is no manual import of scorecards into Garmin Connect. Are all scorecards failing to upload? Have you tried running Disk Utility on the Approach S2 to ensure there is nothing wrong with the memory on the device?

How do I run a check disk or disk utility on my Garmin mass storage device?

I recommend moving the scorecards to the Mac and then deleting them from the device, empty the trash, then eject the device and try a test scorecard of a couple of rounds. Does this new scorecard upload? If it does, then it is possibly a corrupted scorecard that is causing the issue. You can copy the scorecards back one at a time and upload them to see which one is corrupted. If you quit Garmin Express after each upload and select the option to not run in the background, when you open Garmin Express again, it will automatically sync.

If you continue to have issues uploading, contact Product Support by phone for further assistance.
