I just updated to latest version of OSX (v10.10.5) this afternoon and Garmin Express is no longer working. I deleted my previous install and reinstalled a fresh download but receive an error message which says the program is not compatible with OSX and to contact the vendor. Any idea when a new Garmin Express release will be put out that is compatible with the latest OSX update?
I had the exactly the same problem this morning and put an error report to Garmin. Looks like latest Yosemite update included some additional security fixes that have somehow blocked Garmin Express
GE 4.1.5 is working fine with Yosemite 10.10.5 on my Mac Pro. Haven't really tried it out anywhere else, but I did use GE yesterday after updating my Mac Pro without any problems.
There have been no wide reaching issues with Garmin Express running on 10.10.5. Depending on how far back the Mac OS goes before being updated there may be some leftovers from previous Garmin Express versions. Use the FAQ How do I completely uninstall Garmin Express? to remove files all previous files then install the latest version again.
I too am having problems adding a new device to Garmin Express. Running OS10.10.5 and express 4.1.5.0. I have a brand new 510. I just completely removed the software, and re-installed. Now I have no devices and can add none, when I try to sign into my account I get the 'cannot connect to server' error. I can't add my vivofit back in, my nuvi, or my new 510... this is seriously frustrating.
I am sorry for the troubles. There was a brief issue adding devices earlier tonight but it has been resolved. I see your vivofit is in your account and successfully synced for today.
