Can I revert to an older version?

Is there a way to install the previous version of Garmin Express that worked just fine? I've tried everything listed in the forum's now locked threads on the issue, but I can't get the software to recognize that my ANT stick is actually inserted. Removing the 610 wasn't helpful either, since the ANT stick is needed to reconnect the device.

Should I try installing ANT Agent and using that until the problem is fixed?

    I am sorry that you are having trouble with Garmin Express. Usually just ending the service will resolve this problem:

    • Make sure the ANT stick is plugged in
    • Click the black triangle in the menu bar (Make sure to do this from the triangle and not from the Garmin Express menu)
    • Click Quit
    • Click Quit again if prompted


    If this does not solve the problem, you can also try removing the device from Express and then repairing it again.

    If you are still having trouble, it would be best to contact Product Support by phone.

  • Try killing the Garmin Express Service in Activity Monitor

    I found that just shutting down Garmin Express wasn't sufficient as the Garmin Express Service was still running.

    Go to Activity Monitor and kill the Garmin Express Service, restart Garmin Express and it may work.

    It works for me.
