Garmin Express on Mac doesn't support vivofit2?

I'm trying to setup Garmin Express on my mac (Yosemite 10.10.4) with a new Garmin vivofit2. The device seems to work fine, but I can't get Garmin Express to recognize and sync it.

I installed Garmin express successfully, plugged in the ANT when prompted. Garmin Express finds the device, but reports:

Device Found:
Vivofit2
Serial Number:NNNN
This device is not compatible with Express


I get this error consistently. Searching again doesn't help. I looked through the System Information and it shows a USB ANT device.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

    I am sorry about the trouble adding your vivofit to Express. There was an issue with being able to pair up vivofits but this has been resolved so should now be able to add the device.

    If you are still having trouble, there could be some kind of issue with connecting to our servers. Please try the steps here: What should I do if I receive a server error while using Garmin Express?

    If this does not solve the problem, please contact Product Support by phone.
