Just updated to the latest version of Garmin express when I connect my Oregon 450 it tells me there is an update which will take a minute and does not see my Oregon 450 connected.
connect to Base camp ok and check to see if there are any updates and no new software updates to download problems with the new Garmin Express or Base camp??? it would be nice to get all the issues sorted I have purchased numerous maps and devices overtime, when there are updates there seems to be some issue, I have lost one map I purchased originally for water activity when updating my Oregon 450 it was for the irish sea and bristol channel when contacting your support they suggested I purchase a new map. I still can't see all the maps I have purchased in base camp and have to log onto the garmin website to see Usa Australia and new zealand and europe without having the individual card in my 450 why is this???

Does BaseCamp see the device when connected? If not, there may be an issue with the garmindevice.xml file if the computer can see the device.
    • Double click the device on the desktop
    • Open up the Garmin folder
    • Delete the garmindevice.xml file
    • Open the text folder
    • Delete a text language you can't read

Once that is done disconnect the device, allow it to restart and the try again with Express.

I don't know if I am understanding you correctly regarding the maps, but depending on the type of map you have 1 year to download said map from the date of purchase so you may have to purchase another map if you wish to download it. In order for a map to be visible in BaseCamp it has to be compatible, and installed to the computer, on the device with the device connected, or on an SD card that is connected to the computer.
