I still have MapManager (ver. 3.0.1) and MapInstall (ver. 4.1.0) on my iMac - but I haven't used them for quite some time, so I don't know if they are still of any use(?).
Should I remove or retain them??
According to the devices registered to your myGarmin account you have no real need for MapInstall or MapManager, which essentially are installed together with MapInstall. You can remove them as they are always available at garmin.com if needed.
