Garmin Zumo 350 USB Mode

Hi All,

I screw up my Zumo 350, I reformat the Zumo 350 using a mac book, now no matter what i try, the zumo just won't enter not USB Mode.

I have entered into the developer mode and enable Mass Storage but still can't enter into the USB mode.

My garmin express can't detect my zumo too.

Can any kind soul advise me what to do?

Right now every time i turn the zumo off and on, it will seem as it the device has been a hard reset and ask me to select my locale and all my setting will be gone.

what should i do?

If the device won't go into mass storage mode on any computer that you try to connect it, It might need to come in fore repair. Please contact support to see if there is anything else we can do.

Thanks Albert. Contacted garmin.. is there is no way to resolve this issue on my own? i tried to do a manual update still no luck in getting the zumo to be connected as mass storage mode.

I have contacted. But read somewhere in the forum, that a file is require to restore the device. Currently the device is still able to load the map from SD card. But the Mac cannot detect the Garmin or the SD card with the SD card plug into the Garmin.

I initially addressed your post on the Mac Forum below. I will add here that if the Mac will not recognize the Zumo in the Finder when connected, I suggest you use the FAQ : How do I run a check disk or disk utility on my Garmin mass storage device? Use a PC for the Disk Check because only the PC can tell you if the device is in RAW format.

Only after you determine that the format is correct will the information in the original post about the GarminDevice.xml file apply.
