Problem synchronisation garmin 500

Hi guys,

Today I can't upload my activity on garmin connect. Yesterday I don't have this problem.

I uninstall garmin connect and re-install the last version but nothing happens.

After that, I delete the Edge 500 on the garmin connect and try to connect the Edge 500 again to the garmin connect but that's dont work.

On a another computer, impossible to upload my activity too... Both are Mac on Yosemite 10.10.4 and Garmin express version is 4.1.2.0

    If you have already tried the troubleshooting in our FAQ What should I do if I receive a server error while using Garmin Express?, then the issue could be a corrupted GarminDevice.xml file. Sometimes this file on an Edge 500 becomes corrupted and when this happens, the device and Garmin Express are unable to communicate with our servers properly. Try theses steps:

    • Delete the GarminDevice.xml file from the Garmin Folder
    • Empty the trash
    • Eject the device
    • Power it on and boot to the main screen
    • Reconnect and see if you can add the device to Garmin Express


    If the same error is received, try master resetting the Edge 500. I have seen it take two master resets before this file is correct and the device can be added to Garmin Express.

    If it still fails, contact Product Support by phone for further assistance.
