Just did the firmware update with Garmin express on my NUvi 710. Process seemed to run correctly, asked to disconnect the unit and restart. Unable to restart now with the text System software missing. Also unable to find the unit on Garmin Express. Tried the hard reset but unable to recover the unit???
If you are receiving that message, we will be unable to correct it if you are using a Mac. Please get to a Windows computer and contact support and we should be able to correct this issue.
I am sorry for the troubles. Unfortunately a VM will not work. In order to correct this you will need to contact Garmin Product Support by phone with access to a Windows PC Vista or higher.
