Edge 810 won't sync with Express/Connect

Hi,

I purchased an Edge 810 about a week and a half ago and all was fine until the last few days when I've tried to sync data to and from Connect. The main issue is the creation of courses to sync to the device, as every time I sync there's a delay and then the "could not sync" error in Express.

I've done a full reset on the device, reinstalled the software on my macbook and adjusted the proxies setting, I'm completely stumped as to what's going on! Any suggestions?

    Won't synch with new Edge 810

    I am using an Edge 810. i have owned it for 4 hours and spent the last 4 hours trying to send a route to my device and I keep getting the same issue as this user. Rubbish initial experience of Garmin and very frustrated. The manual upload says it has saved it but when I go to my Garmin I can not see it in courses or rides. Close to sending the thing back? Any advice?

    I am sorry for the troubles. As I understand it you are trying to manually Import a third party file into Garmin Connect that contains a Course. Currently there is an issue with Connect sending Courses to devices. In order to successfully send a Course to a device it must be a Course created manually in the Course menu or be a Course saved from an Activity uploaded from the device. The details page for each activity has a gear(settings) icon with the option to Save as a Course.

    The Garmin Connect team is aware of the issues sending Courses to devices and working on a resolution. There are many variables when working with files so there may be a solution that is outside of this forum in your situation. If you have any other questions I suggest you contact Garmin Product Support by phone.
