Just a heads up that there's something seriously wrong with Express Service, the background app that does the actual work. When you plug an Epix in and Express Service is running in the background, it deletes the Garmin folder that contains everything on the Epix. This may be an interaction with BaseCamp, since the first time it happened to me I was trying to put a waypoint and a course onto my Epix using BaseCamp. It was repeatable after that; plugging my Epix into either my Mac Pro (Yosemite 10.10.3, Express 4.0.22) or my MacBook Pro (Yosemite 10.10.3, Express 4.0.24) cause the immediate loss of all files on my Epix, even if BaseCamp wasn't running. (Because I had the foresight to make a backup of my Epix a few days ago, I was able to restore it each time.)
In any event, Service should not be deleting anything from a device unless asked to (including previous activities), and BaseCamp shouldn't be making any changes to a device that would cause Service to do this.
