Problem on mac

Righto, I am using a Mac. Garmin Express did not sync again tonight, but my activities from Forerunner 405 have been deleted. Can I find the activities somewhere on my computer? I have problems syncing extremely regularly. My software is up to date. Sometimes it works to quit and re-start the program. But seriously, can it not just be designed to work?
Please don't tell me my activities from today have been deleted altogether.

    I am sorry that you are having trouble syncing your Forerunner. There are two locations that you may find activities on your Mac. Activities that have not been sent to Garmin Connect are stored here:
    ~/Library/Application Support/Garmin/Express/RegisteredDevices/[Unit ID]/PendingSyncUploads/Activities or /PendingSyncUploads/History

    Once activities are uploaded to Garmin Connect, they are stored here:
    ~/Library/Application Support/Garmin/GarminConnect/[UnitID]/Upload/FIT_TYPE_4

    Well that didn't work. The last details are from 31 May.

    If they are not there, it looks like nothing is making it to the computer. I would suggest contacting support at this point.
