Garmin Express cannot discover my Fenix 3

I have a new Fenix 3 and I have been trying to connect it with Garmin Express, when I try to add the device it starts searching and could not find my device although it is connected through the USB port

    Have you tried the troubleshooting in our FAQ: How do I verify a physical connection of a USB GPS device to a Mac?

    Did you get resolution to your problem? I'm having the same problem with my F3. I'm using Windows laptop though, not a MAC like document provided by Customer Care agent.

    Here is the PC version. Why is my Garmin mass storage or MTP device not communicating with Garmin Windows applications? Since the fenix3 has its own cradle ignore the suggestion to try another USB cable.
