New Edge 510 won't sync

Hi

I've just received a new Edge 510 and it won't sync segments and courses to the device. When I first plugged it in it updated to version 3.50 which worked fine and after riding today, it has synced he ride via Garmin Express and is viewable in Garmin Connect. However, when trying to sync segments and courses from Garmin Connect via Garmin Express I get a red bar stating "There was an error syncing with Garmin Connect". The same issues occur when trying to sync via my mobile over bluetooth.

I'm a bit confused what I'm doing wrong and any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    I am sorry that you are having trouble syncing. Since the same issue is occurring in both Garmin Express and through the Connect app, it sounds like there is an issue on the Garmin Connect side. Have you already tried removing the device from Express? When you remove it, make sure to remove it from Connect as well as this will clear anything out of the sync queue that might still be waiting to sync.

    If this doesn't solve the problem, it would be best to contact support by phone so that we can troubleshoot the issue.

    I am sorry for the troubles. There is a reported issue with Course created from Imported gpx files. If you create the Course manually in the Courses menu then you will be able to send it to the device. This should be corrected in a future Connect update.
